(Updates posted in order from most recent to oldest)

After six months of work, I am finally finished updating the new look for Nevada-Landmarks. Notice the new layout on each individual marker and county page, including new icons and color scheme! A new addition to the county pages are cool new image maps of every county. Each dot representing every marker new links directly to the specified marker. Try it today!
(9/21/11) NEW PAGE ADDED! Enjoy my new page of
"Nevada Symbols." I created this page mostly for scholastic programs. This page is the first of many pages I will creating relating more to actual Nevada history.
(8/21/11) NEW MARKER FOUND! A bit of Internet browsing and a 268 mile trip revealed a forgotten recent addition into the Nevada Historic Marker System: #269, Ely - Forging the Link.
No special events or momentous unveilings welcomed this marker into the system in 2010. It's time to change that. Enjoy this new addition to the website!

New addition to our list of MIAs. #43 joins the MIA cast without much celebration.
(5/19/11) Check out the brand new formatting for my MIAs listings. I will admit that this should have been done a long time ago. The new formatting includes convenient links to and from the MIAs page as well as the current markers and site homepage. The MIAs are cleaner and better than ever before. Unfortunately, I also inducted four new MIAs into the listings. Many apologies for not doing this sooner. Enjoy.

Check out the new easier site navigation! Finally, a Nevada-Landmarks banner has made its debut. I designed the banner to reflect the nature and purpose here on Nevada-Landmarks. Also, the banner conveniently links back to the site homepage for even easier site navigation. Comments on the new banner? Drop me a line.

Thanks to your support and love of Nevada's historical markers, I decided to dedicate all of 2011 to writing a book version of Nevada-Landmarks.com! Along with the regular accuracy of the markers, the book will feature historical columns, journal entries taken on my endeavor, as well as 300+ photos taken all over Nevada. As such, I ask that you be patient in my updates and additions to the website, as well as any delays on requests, or emails during this year...

If you like this idea of a book, simply drop me a line in the guestbook with the subject "Love the book!" Also, if you have any of your own ideas for what you'd like to see in the book, please email me. I will do the best I can to include as many ideas as I can. Thank you!
